We Look forward to growing with ALL of you and creating positive musical experiences and memories that will last a lifetime!

School Instruments
We do realize that some students may not have their own instrument at this time, especially those that use school instruments for marching band (mellophone, baritone, tuba). We will have instruments available this summer for students to check out. More info to come on how and when to check out an instrument.
Band & KVE Fair Share Assessment
The Fair Share Assessment is in place for all band and KVE students to assist with partial financing of the program. OCPS or the school cannot completely fund everything that we do in our program, so we ask that all participating students submit a “Fair Share” Assessment to assist. Things covered from these funds include; Marching Band drill/design, additional Marching band staff, band/dance choreography, band and percussion musical arrangements, band & KVE shirts/costumes/gear, band instrument accessories, repairs and transportation to name just some of the costs included. The Band & KVE Assessment for the 2022-2023 school year will be $275 for All students. The Early Bird Discount of $25 will be applied to the Fair Share Assessment if paid in full on or before August 5th (So you would only pay $250 if paid on or before Aug, 5th)
The entire Assessment does not have to be paid all at once. You may break it up in whatever manner best suits your budget. We do ask that ALL Band Assessment be paid in full by Oct. 31st.
*The School Instrument Rental Assessment will remain as $65 for any student that uses a school owned instrument (Percussion, Tubas, Mellophone, Baritone, French Horn etc.)
Students & Parents, Please understand that these Fair Share Band Assessments are vital for our program to continue to run as it is and to continue to provide high quality opportunities and experiences for our students. We will work with you however necessary to assist with all financial obligations.
